COMPETITION: The project forms a new island separating the outside (periphery) in order to define an inside. The interior of the block is designed as a proximity park divided in smaller areas equipped with specific programs. Common areas and pathways are added on the inhabited roof level. Social infrastructure and services can be fulfilled within a modular system.

PRE-OPERATIONAL: The team worked with several actors to sharpen their ideas and concepts. A unique developer realized the project, divided into three smaller parts. The team was invited to build one part of the project, and to contribute to the elaboration of the brief for the others and of the rules on the configuration of the whole project, the garden courtyard, the rooftop route, and several main common spaces.
